Our sound

Flutes and Friends is a blend of flutes, alto flute, violins and oboe. We began as a flute duo, and today violins and oboe almost always join the flutes, giving us a warm, blended orchestral chamber sound.

Where we play

Flutes and Friends brings live music to non-profits, weddings, ceremonies, and skilled nursing facilities throughout the region.

Seasonal programs

Our holiday program is all about the season: traditional carols, fun holiday songs and seasonal favorites, perfect for the whole family.

From cherished carols to cheerful sing-along tunes, it’s music to share with family and friends all season long.

Monthly at Deer Creek

Every month we visit the residents of Deer Creek Nursing & Rehab to share an afternoon of music. Familiar melodies fill the room, and before long the audience is often singing right along with us. These visits are the heart of what we do.

Programs for memory-care and community audiences are shaped with care: shorter pieces, well-loved tunes, titles introduced before each song, and no sudden scares.
